The Baby Girl edition by Key Rollins Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This story captures so much about characters and the "baby girl" in the book. The mother was my favorite character. I couldn't put this book aside for even a second. A must read for teenagers going through changes in their lives, especially young women.
As if just being a teenager isn't enough you toss in boys, jealousy, and a sudden increase in social status and you wonder how Roxanne keeps it all together. She does with sturdy guidance from her mother.
This was an excellent read. It reminded me of my high school years and that even though your immediate environment may not be all the best you don't have to go with the flow.
Roxanne is coming into her own and has to navigate the harsh realities of her home-life as well as peer pressure. This novel will make you think and put a smile on your face. Two thumbs up!
